On the Road (2012): Mini Review

Underwhelming adaptation of one of the greatest novels ever written in the English language. Serves okay as an atmospheric film, but does nothing to capture the frenetic energy of the novel. Worries me that newcomers to Kerouac would be put off of reading his work after watching this adaptation.
